Rutherford County non-profit organizations have worked hard during the COVID-19 Pandemic to serve the community. Ladonna Parham with Nourish Food Bank told WGNS about their move after the community center they were in, had to shut down...



During the first 5 weeks of COVID-19, Nourish Food Bank served over 105,000 meals to local residents. In comparison to the first two and a half months of the year before the cornavirus hit, the food bank served about 85,000 meals.

The food bank has been operating on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10AM to 12 noon at their Memorial Blvd. location and at their Smyrna office. They will continue those hours until further notice. The Murfreesboro food bank is also open on Thursday night from 5pm to 7pm.
