Natural sound from outside of the event...
A group of about 60 protesters visited the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office on Monday afternoon because they wanted to voice their distaste for two arrests made at the George Floyd rally held on the local square this past Sunday. The group also wanted to address tear gas used on protesters who blocked off Middle Tennessee Blvd at East Main Street.
Previous to arriving at the Sheriff's Office, the group met in the parking lot of Lowe's on Old Fort Parkway (Above Photo). There, a prayer was held and several of those in attendance thanked Murfreesboro Police Officers who were standing by.
