(MURFREESBORO) A 3:29PM Monday (6/22/2020) afternoon, Murfreesboro Police responded to another shooting. Officers answered a double-shooting call to the parking lot beside University Package Wine and Liquor Warehouse at 2834 MIddle Tennessee Boulevard.

Two people were shot and taken by Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services to the ER at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

Public Information Officer Larry Flowers said, "A potential suspect turned himself in at Police Headquarters."

At this time, we do not know the severity of the victim's wounds. The shooting is under investigation.
