A Cannon County man died Saturday night from injuries suffered when he fell into a dumpster at the Cannon County Convenience Center. 

Charles Jeffery "Jeff  Fann of Gassaway Road slipped from the back of his pickup truck as he was unloading trash, hit his head on a metal lip on the inside of the compactor and was then rushed to the hospital. He was transported to the Stones River Hospital in Woodbury where he later died from the injuries.  Family members are mourning his loss today.
