Police recently responded to the JC Penny Store in the stones River Mall where a loss prevention officer told police that he witnessed a female exit the dressing room with a bag full of clothing… $634 worth of clothing to be exact. The suspect reportedly admitted to police that she stole the clothes in question and even admitted that she had been to the store on a prior occasion to shoplift. During her previous visit to the department store, she allegedly stole over $660 worth of clothing. To seal the deal, the shoplifting was caught on an in store surveillance video camera.
