UPDATE: Horse Slaughter Bill

Apr 10, 2012 at 06:25 am by Unknown

House Bill 3619 has been moved to another date on the calendar. The bill deals with the right to slaughter horses in Tennessee. Right now, it is illegal to slaughter horses in the state, that could soon change. Those against the bill say it will increase horse thefts in the volunteer state if it passes muster.  The horse slaughter bill is set to go before a Senate Committee on Wednesday and is expected to go before the house again this coming Monday.
