There was a house fire in LaVergne on Wednesday. A grill evidently caught fire which led to an outdoor bamboo ceiling over a patio to catch fire as well. The fire was managed, but caused significant damage to the patio area of the home. One woman was injured in the blaze with second degree burns to her arms and hands. She was transported to StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna.
