Burglars struck a Smyrna store and got away with over $10,000. The crime unfolded at Aaron’s Furniture on June 16th. Reports indicate the burglars emptied a store safe and a cash register just before midnight and then fled the scene.

When police reviewed the in store surveillance video system, it was revealed that the two thieves kept their heads covered the entire time they were in the store. One culprit wore a black hood while the other wore a red baseball cap.

Reports indicate the subjects broke into the store by way of the backdoor. It took them less than one minute to break-in, steal the money and then flee the scene.
