For the sixth time a Murfreesboro man was charged with driving on a revoked license. 44-Year old Daniel Eugene Hazel was pulled over on Hanover Street while allegedly operating a stolen vehicle. Once police had Hazel stopped, he reportedly got out of the car and ran. Police gave chase and captured him without further incident behind an apartment complex. Once in handcuffs, the Flat Rock Road man was charged with his second DUI, evading arrest and theft of over $1,000.

In an unrelated case, another man was also charged with driving on a revoked license for the sixth time. 37-Year old Marcus Smith was pulled over for failing to yield. He was also charged for the first time with DUI and violation of the implied consent law.
