Siegel High boys basketball coach Ben Dotson has been charged with D-U-I. Murfreesboro Police report Dotson was involved in a wreck on Highway 231 near the V.A. golf course on Saturday night and Officer Trey Mansfield reported suspicion of drinking while driving. The report also says a blood alcohol test was refused after field sobriety tests were given. In addition to the D-U-I charge, Dotson is charged with violating the implied consent law for refusing the test. He will be in court on July 24th to answer to the charges and bond was set at 15-hundred dollars.
