Two Dogs Left Behind After Move

Tenants of a rental property left two dogs behind when they moved. When police responded to 701 Minor Street they found two pitbulls in the backyard of the home. The responding officer noted that there was no food left out for the dogs and the water that was left had turned green. The animals were left unattended for approximately 3-daysPet Adoption and Welfare Services of Rutherford County responded to the call and took possession of the animals. It is not yet known if animal cruelty charges will be issued.
