There are two public fireworks displays scheduled in Rutherford County on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. The Tuesday night firework show will be in Smyrna at the Lee Victory Park at 9:00. There will be a second fireworks show in Murfreesboro on Wednesday night at SportsCom. That show is also scheduled for 9:00.
The Smyrna festivities will begin at 5 Tuesday evening. There will be food vendors on site and activities for the children.
At SportsCom a full schedule of activities is planned for Wednesday. Starting at 10-AM, the outdoor pool will hold their annual “Rock the Pool Party.” Then at 5 the city will celebrate their 200th anniversary. There will be activities throughout the night. The Murfreesboro Symphony will perform at the McKnight Park from 8-9PM, and fireworks will begin at 9PM.
