Local nonprofit Special Kids will hold its 13th Annual Friendraiser Banquet presented by Demos’ Restaurant on Thursday, July 19, at World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro. This year’s event will feature the hilarious thoughts and insights from blogger and author, Jon Acuff, as the keynote speaker.

“Special Kids is looking forward to having over 400 guests come out to enjoy a special evening and learn about our organization,” said Ginger Warf, Special Kids Director of Marketing. “At the end of the night, we hope that our guests leave with a knowledge of who we are and why we love serving children with special needs in middle Tennessee.”

The yearly event is an opportunity for individuals and businesses in the community to invest in the life-changing work of Special Kids for children with special needs. The banquet will highlight the milestones reached by the Murfreesboro nonprofit that has provided therapeutic rehabilitation and nursing services to over 2,300 children over the past 14 years.

The Friendraiser Banquet will commence with a silent auction at 5:30 p.m. and dinner provided by Demos’ Restaurant at 6 p.m. Tables of eight are available for $800, and individual tickets are $100.
