The manager of Cracker Barrel on Chaffin Place in Murfreesboro was assaulted when he confronted three patrons who failed to pay their bill. The incident occurred on Saturday night around 8. The trio ate $38-worth of food and then left. The manager approached one of the three subjects as they walked out of the front door and the thief pushed the manager down. The manager fell and hit his head on the door. A police report shows that the manager experienced concussion like symptoms after hitting his head. The three then fled the scene. Reports indicate the manager was able to get the license plate number before they drove away.
