Due to the recent isolated rain showers in Middle Tennessee, Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue Department has received several inquiries concerning the status of the burn ban in Murfreesboro.  “The burn ban is still in effect and will be for some time,” said Fire Marshal Ken Honeycutt.
