There has been an arrest in the murder of a 38-year old Murfreesboro man, whose body was found Saturday at the West Fork boat ramp on the Stones River. Smyrna Police say the TWRA found the body of Steven Eugene Carlton between 1:30 and 2, Saturday afternoon.
A mother and son, 36-year old Christiana Magaddino and 20-year old Ryan Roe, both of Smyrna, face multiple charges for the role they allegedly played in Carlton’s murder. Roe faces first degree murder and tampering with evidence charges. Magaddino is charged with accessory to murder after the fact, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse.
Magaddino and Roe both resided in the Ashley Grove Apartments, which is near Wal-Mart in Smyrna.
