The Tennessee Highway Patrol will say goodbye the Ford Crown Victoria as a patrol car. Ford has stopped production of the full size car and it is leading law enforcement agencies like the Highway Patrol to look elsewhere for a patrol vehicle.

The replacement for the Crown Vic will be the Chevrolet Caprice. That decision was made after months of evaluating the different options. The Caprice Highway Patrol car will be introduced to the public as current Crown Vic’s wear out or are wrecked.
