It started when MTSU President Sydney McPhee saw water in the basement of his home on the MTSU campus. Water was apparently leaking into the home. The president’s home is about 100-years old and was in need of repair. The home basically got a $200-thousand face lift. New mortar between bricks was the most major thing done at the house that sits at Middle Tennessee Boulevard at East Main Street.
