There was a serious accident around 3:40, Tuesday morning on I-24 in Rutherford County. Two tractor trailer trucks collided in the east bound lane of 24 near exit 70, Almaville Road. 

The Tennessee Department of Transportation says the wreck should be cleared at about 9:00, Tuesday morning. Crews are currently cleaning up debris and leaked fuel. 

The interstate is blocked and drivers are being re-routed. 

No word on any injuries.
