Murfreesboro Woman Fraudulently Submits Disability Paperwork

Nov 07, 2012 at 09:57 am by Unknown

A Murfreesboro woman fraudulently submitted paperwork to her employer suggesting that she was disabled. The fraud was uncovered when MTSU sent notification to the doctors office asking for them to verify the disability.

The doctor’s office told the university that the suspect had not been seen by a physician in their office since April, even though the paperwork for disability was just filed and recently dated.

According to the fraudulent paperwork, the fake documents suggested that the suspect could make her own work schedule and report to work when it was conducive to her.

The case is being investigated.
