Amazingly, as we near Thanksgiving and Christmas--gas prices continue to drop. In fact, Some discounters in Murfreesboro are offering regular octane for $2.86 per gallon. 

The national average stands at 3.1 cents per gallon higher than the same day a year ago, and 32.6 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. 

The latest Lundberg Survey says "It's the biggest price decline in our surveys since early December 2008, when the recession hit in full force."
