Police stumbled upon a small scale marijuana growing operation located in a home on Crestland Avenue in Murfreesboro. Officer D. Evans witnessed a man run out of a gas station and then stumble down the street. Officer Evans questioned the suspect and quickly determined that he was under the influence of alcohol.

Police went to the suspect's address and met with two of his roommates. After being granted permission to enter the residence, police noticed a dry erase board on the refrigerator that had an outlined "things to do list." One of the tasks to tackle was "Weed - Plant." Shortly after spotting the "to do list", police discovered 2-marijuana plants growing in a jug which was located in the kitchen. Police say they also recovered a glass jar containing marijuana stems and drug paraphernalia.

The students face manufacturing, delivering or sale of a drug - or drugs charges. The trio will appear in court on March 12th of next year.
