A Christmas morning fire was quickly doused by Murfreesboro firefighters on Tuesday at 1 a.m. The fire was on Tessa Court near Veterans Parkway. The homeowners called 911 to report the blaze that was localized to a garage.

The cause of the fire has not been released and thanks to the quick work of firemen, the fire caused minimal damage. No one was injured.
