$13,000 In Jewelry was stolen from a home on North Thompson Lane in Murfreesboro. The victim told police the culprit made his way into the home by breaking open a rear door. Evidently, a home alarm did not deter the subject who got away with a $10,000 pearl necklace and $3,000 worth of miscellaneous jewelry.

Detectives are investigating the burglary case and so far, a suspect has not been developed. Once an arrest is made, the culprit will likely face felony theft charges.
