Package Liquor stores within the town of Woodbury will be coming soon now that the Woodbury Aldermen voted Tuesday night to approve an ordinance to establish liquor store regulations.  A public hearing on the matter was held in Woodbury to open the meeting.  Since no one from the audience spoke up, a motion was made and approved on second and final reading to set the regulations.  

Cannon County is now home to a distillery. The Short Mountain Distillery openened in March of 2012 at 119 Mountain Spirits Lane in Woodbury. Their products may soon be available for sale in Woodbury if a new liquor store opens in the city limits. WGNS will keep you informed.
