If you’re looking for work, be prepared to fill out an application next Wednesday. The Goodwill Career Solutions center in Murfreesboro will host a job fair from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6 for Metro Industrial. The temp agency is looking to fill about 100 production positions which include everything from order pullers to forklift operators. The two plants they are hiring for are located in Rutherford and Wilson Counties.

The company will not release the name of the plants they are hiring for. 

A representative from Metro Industrial will be on site and interviews are possible, so dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring resumes, photo ID, Social Security card or birth certificate.

NEW GOODWILL DONATION SITES OPENING IN FEBRUARY IN MURFREESBORO

Donors in Murfreesboro have a new drop-off site. Goodwill will open its first store front Donation Express Center at 2650 New Salem Highway in Murfreesboro. Look for it to open on February 8.

Since Thanksgiving they have had a donation trailer set up at 2152 North Thompson Lane in Murfreesboro. That trailer will be replaced with a covered drive-through for donations. It will open sometime later in February.
