A man who was accused of throwing a knife at his roommate last month was arrested on Tuesday (3/12/13).  24-Year old Stephen S. Kelly allegedly threw the knife at A.J. McCutcheon because he reportedly believed someone stole his prescription medication. A police report shows that Kelly is also accused of squirting lighter fluid on Joseph Loggins who was in the apartment at the time of the incident. The arresting officer wrote in a report, “Mr. Kelly then squirted lighter fluid on Mr. Loggins and told him he would light him on fire.”

The victims say they called the police and Kelly fled the scene. He arrested on Tuesday morning at 9:30 and charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. Kelly will appear in court on April 18. He was booked under a $10,000 bond and released within a matter of minutes after posting bond.
