A Warren County man is being held in the Coffee County jail under a $2 million bond and charged with first degree murder.
Jimmy B. Jones, Jr. of Warren County was arrested Thursday in Warren County for the murder and burning of Connie Lou Brown. Her body was found in the Summitville rock quarry by individuals riding 4-wheelers in the abandoned quarry.
Coffee County Sheriff Steve Graves stated that Jones was placed at the murder scene on two different occasions due to his GPS monitoring ankle bracelet. According to the sheriff, Jones was ordered to wear the bracelet when he was recently released from prison.
