Reports of a city school bus in a ditch on Twin Oaks Drive on Friday afternoon sounded worse than it was.

Murfreesboro City School's spokesperson Lisa Trail told WGNS News, "No one was hurt. The driver was backing up and the back wheel got off the road. There were 9 children on board but none were injured." 

Rutherford County Sheriffs Office Public Information Officer Lisa Marchesoni reports, " The accident occurred around 4:15 Friday afternoon. The county worked the incident and an ambulance was called to the scene as a precaution."
