Recycle Rutherford will hold its annual meeting Monday April 22, 7:00 p.m., in the Rutherford County Courthouse.
Sustainability—making use of resources without depleting or permanently damaging the source—is key to preserving our environment. Wilmot, Inc. is a green building and sustainability consulting firm located in Nashville . Tiffany Wilmot, president, will speak at the Recycle Rutherford annual meeting on her company’s leadership role in low impact development and green building practices. The meeting will be held in the second floor courtroom of the Rutherford County Courthouse in Murfreesboro.
Since 1994, Wilmot and her company have been providing clients with innovative, high performance approaches to improve health, protect the environment, and save money. Wilmot, Inc. currently is working on Nashville ’s new $595 million convention center, Music City Center , to attain LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification for the building.
Recycle Rutherford will also elect some officers and board members at the meeting.
