A man walking home from the Campus Pub on Friday said that he was struck by a passing motorist. The man told police the car struck him and he remembered going over the windshield. According to the report, “The next thing he remembered was hitting the ground.” Talk about a real trooper, the man told police, “he got to his feet and continued walking home.”

The car that struck the pedestrian was described as a smaller white vehicle. No other information was obtained.

The good news… the man was not seriously injured. The bad news… the fleeing motorist was not caught.
