Rutherford County’s Chamber of Commerce and its diplomats will present a ribbon cutting for the Stones River Regional Health Fair at 11 am Tuesday at the Embassy Suites Conference Center. All are invited and refreshments will be served. The Health Fair is scheduled for this upcoming Saturday, April 20 from 10am-4pm at the Embassy Conference Center.

Chamber of Commerce Membership Director Kelli Beam urged the community to attend the fair on April 20, calling it a “great opportunity” for people to gain access to nearly 100 local doctors at absolutely no cost. The Stones River Regional Health Fair, presented by RutherfordsBestDoctors.com, will also feature a dozen free health screenings, several seminars, giveaways and demonstrations.

RutherfordsBestDoctors.com will also introduce its new smart phone app at tomorrow’s ribbon-cutting ceremony and encourage the Chamber’s diplomats to download and test out its directory of more than 300 local doctors.

The Rutherford’s Best Doctors App is newly available on iTunes. Users can search the network of physicians by specialty or even locate nearby doctors by circling an area on a Rutherford County map.

“Our newly designed smart phone app is just another example of our efforts to provide the very best health care to our neighbors here in Rutherford County,” said Dr. Warren McPherson, Chairman of Stones River Regional IPA. “We look forward to rolling out more innovative solutions in the near future.”

Stones River Regional IPA is an organization of physicians centered in Rutherford County that is dedicated to achieving easy access to quality medical care for the people of Rutherford County and the surrounding areas.
