Riverdale High School and the Rutherford County School's main office near I-24 had to be placed on a precautionary "Code Yellow" lockdown that lasted for about 10 minutes on Wednesday morning. County Schools Spokesperson James Evans told WGNS, "We were notified by the Sheriff's Office that authorities were pursuing a suspect on foot."

When we asked the Sheriff's Office about the incident, they told us they were assisting the U.S. Marshall's Service in apprehending a wanted fugitive from Alabama. Suspect Jonathan Henry was found at the Select Inn on South Church Street at about 11:30 Wednesday morning.

Henry was wanted in Gadsden , Alabama , and Etowah (Et-to-wah) County, Alabama , on charges of intimidation, stalking, intimidation of a witness, two counts of assault and failure to appear. His arrest came with the assistance of the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office, Murfreesboro Police and U.S. Marshall's.

The principal at Riverdale sent parents a message after the lockdown was lifted to keep them informed about what had occurred as far as the "Code Yellow" goes.
