MTSU President Sidney A. McPhee and Gordon Ferguson, president and CEO of Middle Tennessee Medical Center, will announce at 10 a.m. Friday (April 19) the university’s purchase of the former site of the medical center, near downtown Murfreesboro. WGNS will broadcast Rutherford Issues with Bryan Barrett at that site "LIVE" at 10:00, Friday. 

The ceremony will be held in the Bell Street Building, 503 E. Bell St., directly across from the now-vacant lot that the main hospital building once occupied.

Both presidents, along with other community leaders, will make remarks about the agreement, followed by a Question and Answer period.
