A 21-year old Murfreesboro man is facing a variety of serious charges dealing with alleged marijuana possession. The investigation into Brandon D. Donaldson began this past March when authorities obtained warrants for the Hazelwood Drive resident who was suspected of storing a felony amount of marijuana in his home.

Several days ago police were patrolling a local apartment complex when they stumbled upon the suspects’ car. After questioning several residents about his whereabouts, Donaldson was located in the D building of Nottingham Apartments. During questioning a report shows that Donaldson admitted to selling marijuana and using his personal vehicle for transporting the drugs. As a result his car and several hundred dollars in his possession were seized.

The 21-year old man was charged with 3 counts of manufacturing marijuana, 3 counts of felony drug possession and 1 count for maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of storing a controlled substance, according to the MPD arrest report. He will appear in court on August 13.
