The Siegel High School Girls Basketball team is sponsoring a Secondhand shoe drive. The reported goal is to collect 25,000 pairs of shoes between now and July 29th. The team is asking for your support by donating shoes you no longer need while helping others.  

WGNS was told that collection boxes are available at the Siegel High School gym June 7-9 and 12-14.

WHAT: Secondhand shoe drive for developing nations like Haiti, Uganda, India and others. Shoes will be shipped to these developing nations for people to start, maintain and grow an enterprise to feed, clothe and house their families.

WHEN: Now through July 29th

WHERE: Various locations around town  

BRING: Any type of shoes (men’s, women’s, children) you no longer need regardless of condition. Even if you just have one shoe, bring it too!
