We had several calls on Wednesday morning in regards to police activity on Malloy Lane at Bridge Avenue. This is an area near the Murfreesboro Greenway trail off of Bridge Avenue. What we have learned is that a homeless subject fell in a field in that area and possibly broke his hip.

Because the incident occurred deep in a field, the ambulance personnel had to have the assistance of a specialized Polaris ATV to haul the patient to the ambulance. The injuries the homeless person received were not said to be life threatening.
