A two-vehicle fender bender occurred around 7:15 Monday morning (6/24/2013) on Northwest Broad near Thompson Lane.

Traffic slowed as rubber neckers watched units from Fire & Rescue, Rutherford Emergency Management and two Murfreesboro police motorcyclists on the scene.

With the rash of recent auto fires from crashes, one involving the death of a couple a few weeks ago, emergency responders are on high alert for this type of call.
