Did you realize the local School Resources Officer program sponsors archery programs at many Rutherford County schools? 11-year old Cole Duggin from Christiana Elementary placed fifth in the Fourth Grade Boy's World Tournament last week in St. Louis.

Cole said, "I wasn't nervous at all. I had a goal to get in the top 5 and I had to keep my head."

SRO Scott Reed, who coaches the Christiana team, noted, "It's unbelievable the amount of commitment these youngsters have."

Approximately 75 youngster competed nationally and represented Rockvale, Buchanan, and Christiana Elementary Schools; along with Siegel Middle and High Schools. Seventeen of the total group placed in the top 100 nationally.
